The Dwarven Discovery Quest​

Quest Length​

Short

• The quest primarily involves teleporting to a few locations.

Danger​

Mild

• One level 5 highwayman guards the stairs leading up to the Dwarven Mine from Falador. Entering from this direction may trigger his aggression if the player is low level. If needed, consider entering the mine from the north to avoid him.

• Permanent ability to mine Dragon rocks and collect Dragon ore, even after prestige resets
• [Ironmen only] Dwarf cannon set

Note:Supporters receive cannonballs with dwarf cannon sets.

Quest Walkthrough​

Step 1 - Begin​

Speak to the Head Dwarf outside the Dwarven Mine near Falador. He can be found next to the cannon.
You agree to help the dwarves mine an obscure rock, but you are unable to fit through the hole that leads to it. Magical assistance will be required to reach the area.
Warning: A level 5 highwayman guards the stairs leading up to the Dwarven Mine from Falador. Entering from this direction may cause him to attack low-level players. Consider entering from the north if needed.

Step 2 - Find a Wizard​

Speak to Professor Onglewip in the Wizards Tower near Draynor. He will task you with collecting some letters from various NPCs around Nexus.

Step 3 - One Small Favour​

Collect all three letters by speaking to the following NPCs. Each NPC will hand over their letter when clicked. These NPCs are at the same locations as OSRS.

• Iffie in Varrock
• Charlie the Cook in Brimhaven
• Raneal in Al Kharid

Step 4 - Return to the Professor​

Return to Professor Onglewip and deliver the letters. He will give you an uncharged teleport crystal.

Step 5 - Return to the Head Dwarf​

Bring the uncharged teleport crystal back to the Head Dwarf. Speak to him and he will charge the crystal.

Step 6 - In the Hole​

• Click the charged crystal to teleport into the hole
• Mine one Dragon ore from the rock
• Click the stairs to return to the surface

Step 7 - Finish​

You discover that you actually could have fit through the hole the entire time.
Speak to the Head Dwarf one final time to complete the quest.
